it must affect the right-wing Christians and other Republicans that have such hangups about sex and nudity? It shocked us. Just think of how it has affected the core Bush voters. Most are probably still speechless. They are waiting to awaken from a sexual nightmare. This cannot be happening, they must be thinking? Once they wake up, look out! Is that possible? :)

1. Interesting thought.
Their ability to deny and live in a fantasy world in direct opposition to the shocking impact of the photos. Which side will prevail?

One possible out for many of them. I've noticed that a lot of right-wing fundamentalists have a prurient interest (yeah, that's the term) in sex. So the photos might not be as shocking to some of them as we would think.

2. One would think... however..
they have a remarkable ablity to place blame elsewhere- for exzmple, Linda Chavez blamed womwen in the military, I fully expect , and am suprised that I have not heard them blame Clinton's penis.

3. No it's not.
And I'm sitting here crying because of it.

Every hope I had for this country - this country I was prepared to serve as a Foreign Service Officer - is being crushed painfully. This administration and those who support it are the worst kind of people, and the increasingly salient similarities to repressive regimes in Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia and others that I never thought I would be drawing are becoming increasingly difficult to rationalize.

Rush Limbaugh missed his chance in Vietnam. He should go to Iraq. We are sub-contracting military operations - Tom Delay should leap at the opportunity for "patriotic" young white men to go to Iraq now.

And Colin Powell should resign in protest.

The shame won't ever go away. And what mask of dignity and honor as a democracy we ever once had is being destroyed by a bunch of mediocre malicious men who have never had to experience the consequence of their actions.

4. I can't believe how much it has affected me
I just can't believe that this has happened and it just keeps getting worse. It gets more and more depraved. I just can't understand why these things just seem to keep happening.

5. The ones I know think the torture is great
They are big bush supporters. They think anything bad you can do to someone with brown skin is very jesus-friendly. These people are insane. They would have followed hitler to the end. They are following bush to the end.

We live in a fascist country.

8. Yeah, "Jesus-friendly" indeed.
...Considering that he most likely had brown skin. Look at the photos of the Iraqis who were molested. Jesus probably looked very much like those men.

7. That's not what Limbaugh is saying. He claims these guys are connected to
911 and we liberals care more about these *murderers* then the 3000 dead at the WTC.

They are sick SOB's and their religion is Bush.
