It doesn't matter if the RW spins the torture as "pranks," or if
the average American is so Nazified that the torture doesn't bother them.

Whoever said something about "the six morons who lost the war" is exactly right.

General Odom is no doubt also right in saying that the war was lost before the torture scandal, but it would have taken longer for it to become obvious without the scandal as a catalyst.

Now it will probably be clear by October that we have lost. Bush (Rove) can do whatever he wants about the scandal, but he can't alter the fact that the war is now hopelessly lost.

Dittoheads who could accept the little "pranks" the guards played on the ragheads, fundies who had no problem with hundreds of Americans dead in the new Crusade--there is one thing these people can't tolerate. In their absolutist view of the world, they can't tolerate losing. If Bush loses the war he will lose the election. If he somehow keeps Iraq going until after November and is re-elected, his own rabid dogs will turn on him once Iraq does go down. The impeachment leaders will come on stage from the right.

6. ROTFL!!!
In some ways BushCo has succeeded in renaming the U.S. "shitsville." At least a lot of the rest of the world thinks of us that way, thanks to Chimpy and friends.

4. I think the revolution will come from within the military

Not a armed coup, but a sustained revelation of all the foul, evil deeds of the BFEE. The private contractors. The rouge intel ops at DoD.

Their comrades are dying while Halliburton/Blackwater/Titan/CACI and other Republican connected corporations get fat.

And their Commander In Chief is a lying coward.

Much much more to come. Just watch.
