2. If the last 3+ years
haven't convinced you of Powell's unwavering fealty to the Bush clan, I don't know what will. Not just a bad idea, a horrid idea.

11. I don't care what you think, I wanted to see if anyone liked it...
because I don't. Do you people not have sex often or what?

15. Oh
You needed to ask because you don't care what people think and you don't like the idea, though no one's proposing it. Gotcha. And I can't answer for "you people", but I get my share, thanks for another pointless question.

18. Fuck you, I mean that., but here is the story...
I was talking with friends today about how politicians will go against their beliefs and sell their soul to make themselves electable. Then we discussed how such a match of Kerry/Powell would lose the base. I think I just proved that and you make assuptions like Jerry Falwell.

20. Whoops
The F word and Falwell, too! Consider me traumatized.

Hey, how about Kerry/DeLay? Kerry/Schwarzeneggar? Worth considering?

I hope not that far but one has to wonder sometimes. Oh, and fuck you again.

3. Nobody thinks about it.
He wouldn't add a vote and he'd lose plenty, the sellout creep.

He's also a Republican. Funny how all these running mates are Republicans.

Might make you think someone is hoping to destroy the ticket.

7. billion to one
Ridiculous.

1) There will not be a republican VP
2) Powell is a loyal soldier. He won't even quit, much less change sides
3) He doesn't want to be on a presidential ticket. His wife is afraid he'll get shot

9. Nobody needs a gutless yes man
...who has sold out to the worst evil this country has ever seen.

Kerry will pick Edwards or Clark or even Gephardt. He will not pick a military automaton who sold his soul to keep his nitwit son on the fast track at the FCC.

13. Several years ago I might have said yes. Lost all respect for
Powell when I watched him testify before the UN. It was apparent to me that he had buckled under the pressure and just said Yes Sir one too many times.

I wouldn't even consider him anymore.

23. Zero. I Think Less Than Zero of POWELL
This sleaze goes back to Vietnam cover-up days. He built a career on being a toady for powerful, old, white males. He intimidated the CLINTON anti-military staffers by being the only high profile military type around them, then went back to his home with the powerful, old, white males. May "Alma" forever keep him from running for ANYTHING ANYTIME. Fergit McCAIN, too. If we can't come up with a Dem, we don't deserve it.

26. A thousand times NO

Powell has become one of the most loathed persons by both sides.
The right doesn't like him because he rather do diplomacy than
start wars. The left doesn't like him because he has done
too much of the dirty work for Bushco.

I used to respect him and bought his book. Now I writing him
a letter and asking for my money back.

If he wanted to be involved in a Dem adminstration, he would have been by now.
