2. Then Lamb read a RW article (don't remember the publication)
That attacked all the democrats for even suggesting Bush should apologize (Kennedy, Pelosi, etc.) It was a really poisonous article and Lamb read it with relish.

4. Washington Times editorial
Lamb not only enjoyed reading it, he asked the caller to go over his position in more detail. Do these people go home to some other planet to sleep at night? You can't take your tax cut to your grave.

3. This is why Bush* didn't really apologize or fire anyone...
He has to protect his base at all cost: without it, he can't get enough votes to cheat... again!

The only reason he even sort of apologized (to the wrong person, BTW) is because the entire world is outraged, and he was forced to say something.

9. Being a Dictator means never having to say you're sorry!
Edited on Fri May-07-04 07:13 AM by Hubert Flottz
Lamb is a sheep alright! We should keep calling in and asking if he voted for Bush!

OOOOps typing finger is still drunk from last night!

PPS}}}Lamb is one of the sheep with the X on his back that means he don't kick!

5. And we are gloating about the whole thing...
...hoping to use it to take down Bush. That entire situation is just sad.

6. I don't think I personally gloat. I have been so depressed about
this whole mess. My hope is that this wakes up a majority of people so that we get another administration and another congress so that we can start cleaning up and healing.

14. It would be nice.
I'd like to see that myself. This is one reason we need to not get all partisan about the issue and "bunker up" to defend ourselves from the "enemy". If we do these things then it will never get resolved. It will end up festering and eventually come back to bite all of us in the ass. I fear it is too late already though.

8. who's gloating? it IS sad
i guess righteous indignation might be gloating, or making cynical comments like we often do, but i don't hear anyone gloating. an occasional hoot for a small gain for our side, in a david vs. goliath sense.

this is just ONE weapon we have in our quiver to take him down.

but the job ain't done after that, we need a reconstruction strategy to prevent a bunch of assholes like this from ever getting this entrenched in our white house.

13. It isn't even a weapon we should consider using.
This one I think of as the "Biological Weapon" of the political arsenal.

Should we ignore it? No. Should we do everything to bring it to light and seek justice for everyone invovled? Absolutely. However I do not want to see this getting used as a campaign ad. It's as bad as Bush using flag draped corpses in his ads.

7. read/listen carefully though...
bush didn't really apologize for anything we/he has done...
he apologized that the prisoners felt humiliated, and he apologized that people saw the pictures and got pissed.

neither one of those is a mea culpa, just an apology that other people got the wrong impression.

they're masters at the non-apology.

11. Just so you don't think that Fascist Fridays on C-Span are unusual,
Richard Perle will be on Washington Journal on Sunday...

Brian Lamm is running this show and he is promoting all the AEI, Heritage Foundation, super neo-cons he can find.

12. Wow!
Think how pissed they'd be if he'd apologized to the right people, instead of King Abdullah. Or if they'd heard the actual apology instead of just Bush saying he'd told King Abdullah he was sorry for whatever he claims to have said he was sorry for.

15. Don't hate me, but this is a typical Texas cowboy attitude.
That caller was from Texas, and I saw a lot of that type attitude when I lived there. Guess that's why Bush will win the election in Texas.

16. We're Not "Doing This To Bush"
Damn am I tired of both this bastard and the whining by the Wingnuts. Everything that this regime is trying to lie its way out of is from its own creation and its own arrogance.

I hope that turd leaves the ballot blank...I hope all these fascist assholes do the same...or stay home. They could do their country a great favor by doing that.

Bunnypants has always gotten away with things in his life. The only time he ever had to be contrite was when Pickles was ready to walk on him (and Babs was breathing down his neck)...other than that, he's walked from one lie, deception or disaster to another and let the "little people" pick up his shit. This November we'll find out how many Americans enjoy this role.

If the wingnuts are pissed now at Bunnypants, just wait until their local tax bills next year show massive increases on the state and local level to make up for the money Bunnypants took from them and gave to Halliburton.

17. He Also Said He Would Give Those MP's A Medal!
What a moron! We award abusive, inappropriate, and internationally illegal benefit.

The lines were full of one dimensional thinkers and cowards today. It's been a while since i heard so many people saying Bush is doing well, because he's "protecting" us.

What, exactly, are all these people, like the idiot in Big Sandy, TX so afraid of? Does he really think Big Sandy is a terrorist target?

Like i said: What a moron!
The Professor
