He has been very even handed and has made excellent points about why our policy has really screwed up in Iraq.

This guy lives in some box of his imagination.

Iraqis are going to get all sorts of freedoms under the Constitution, like the U. S. military won't be in charge of EVERYTHING INCLUDING SHUTTING DOWN NEWSPAPERS WE DON'T LIKE, THE OIL AND OIL REVENUE, NO RIGHTS TO MAKE LAWS AND HAVE THEM ENFORCED, NO SAY OVER WHETHER WE HAVE PERMANENT MILITARY BASES THERE...That Constitution is just ducky.

2. Is Feldman Jewish?
It sounds like a Jewish name, and I cannot imagine a Jewish consultant will go over well in Iraq, where Muslim clerics are increasingly influential.

He may very well be extremely bright and very competent...

3. It would be nice if Iraqi Scholars were writing their own constitution
rather than Mr. Feldman no matter how bright or thoughtful he might be, it seems a little odd that Iraqi's are considered too lowly to be able to write their own.
