Axis of Mass Corruption = Rove, Scalia, Cheney, Norquist?
Edited on Fri May-07-04 09:21 AM by demo@midlife
They're at the top of this list because they've wielded more power in completing the rethuglican takeover that has been leading the U.S. off a cliff for long enough!

Their areas of influence within this administration:

Rove = RW Orwellian propagandameister (our own Goebbels) to all media, destruction of political enemies (McCain in SC)

Scalia = Stolen election, biggest RW "Christian" on the bench

Cheney = PNAC signatory, etc. (the list is ongoing and too long to post)

Norquist = Domestic policy mastermind, "Starving the Beast" with tax cuts for the rich that destroy the economy (making the rich richer, the poor more poor, and destroying the middle class)

DeLay somewhat belongs there too, but he's only the most obvious & visible hatchetman in Congress (and not the brains behind it). Norquist has the strategy, Rove does the spin.

IMHO, Bush is not listed because these are the powers behind him.

Does the general public even have a CLUE as to what's going on? How many more lives will they destroy before it's over? Will we be able to recover our democracy before they're done?

What do you think, and which one has been more dangerous?
