We will violate international law to make America secure.
That is what Bush has been telling the world for 2 years. Is it any wonder soldiers & mercenaries in Iraq have followed his example?

Impeach Bush & Cheney.

(prosecute the other abusers, too)

1. This is what empires do.
Didn't Germany attack Poland so it could have secure borders?
But I wonder why it swallowed Austria;

I think this is what motivated to Romans to expand their empire also.
We just don't want to admit we are no better.

5. That's a subtle distinction and not something to be proud of....
..the difference between Bush and others is that he's more Candide about his disregard for international law where as others have had just been more subtle about it.

Look don't get me wrong, Bush is a terrible president, and his administration is a terrible administration. But we have bigger problems to face even after Bush is removed from office. We've got big problems that aren't solved simply by changing whose at the top.

4. None are secure until all are.
It's a truism, or should be. A person with many friends is safer than the one with many enemies, regardless of how adept he is at smashing skulls.

It's really like we kooky pinkos have been saying for years: No justice, no peace.
