"I would have apologized, but I wasn't asked" -*
Mods, do what you want with this. I can't find a link, but I heard this on KMJ Radion out of Fresno.

Apparently, * was asked why he did not offer an apology during his two interviews with Arab TV and he said, "I wasn't asked"

Why I think this is breaking news is that it helps to establish a pattern with this whole mis-administration. Someone should be making an add about the total lack of insight and leadership of this bunch. Here are my examples

-I saw the Aug 6 memo, but no one told me we had to take any action.
-I heard about the abuse in Jan, but didn't see the pictures until I saw them on TV
-I was going to apologize, but I wasn't asked.

Does this POS do any thinking, or take any action without someone telling him to do it?

Does this POS know anything unless it is printed in a big giant picturebook like "the hungry catepillar"?

Totally disgusting, but this is what our country calls leadership now!

Thanks god the adult are in charge, and that he has all these smart people around him - sarcasm off.

1. Well that makes sense....there was no prompter or cue card
telling him what to say. Hey, you want something said, put it in the script!

3. He HASN'T apologized, and because he DOESN'T WANT TO
Bush actually said that he told someone completely unrelated to the issue that he was sorry the prisoners and their families were humiliated. SO WHAT? I'M sorry that the prisoners and their families were humiliated too. The problem is, Bush is overlooking the fact that his policies CAUSED the humiliation--THAT'S what he has to apologize for! When he's ready to the tell Iraqi people AND their interim government counsel "I AM SORRY THAT OUR FORCES MISTREATED YOUR PRISONERS," then you can wake me up!

:boring:
