Faux Nuze Lying again
Shilling again for shrub by feeding the masses false propaganda is Faux Nuze. Here is the headline fro foxnews.com
Payrolls Surge, Unemployment Dips to 5.6 Percent

Here are the facts from the Bureau of Labor Statsitics

THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION: APRIL 2004

Nonfarm payroll employment increased by 288,000 in April, and the
unemployment rate was about unchanged at 5.6 percent, the Bureau of Labor
Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor reported today.

Why do they say unemployment fell to 5.6 when the government says it satyed the same at 5.6???

3. And How Sure Of That Are You?
Corporate America's finest on display, pumping money into Murdoch & O'Reilly & Hannity & Ailes pockets. The fine art of advertising is developing the best bullshit and making it as sticky as possible.

4. They have this SHIT playing at the gym I work out in...
...and last night they were showing Bush stumbling and bumbling through a speech. At the end, Brit Hume said (no lie! and with NO apparent sarcasm!), "We apologize for some of those pauses or 'hiccups', those were actually OUR fault... we had some technical difficulties." What kind of TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES causes the speaker to appear as if he can't SPEAK ENGLISH?! I turned to my work out friend and said, "Man, they can't keep Bush's c**k out of their mouths for FIVE SECONDS..."

7. FOX is correct in this instance
Edited on Fri May-07-04 12:34 PM by troublemaker
The rate fell from 5.7 to 5.6. It's a meaningless change because the rate has fluctuated between those two for a while now, but the number is what it is. Everyone will report it the same way FOX did--as a 'dip'

"Both the unemployment rate, 5.6 percent, and the number of unemployed persons, 8.2 million, were essentially unchanged in April. The unemployment rate has been either 5.6 or 5.7 percent since last December."
