most americans think rummy should stay

May 7, 2004— Most Americans express dismay about the abuse of Iraqi detainees by U.S. soldiers, and the nation divides on whether the Bush administration sought at first to investigate the scandal — or to cover it up.

Yet more than six in 10 also see these incidents as isolated, and say they should not cost Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld his job.

5. I agree
If more people come to the conclusion it's not isolated, the WH has a huge problem.

2. I don't care if Rumsfeld stays or goes right now.
My eye is on the November election. Most Americans (at least 60%) think that this administration is doing a terrible job.

Rumsfeld will be out, and so will his boss, in six short months.

10. Six in ten? Well, that's almost 60-40. A pretty large part of the
'people'. Plus,I want to know who these people ask these questions to, because nobody has ever asked me anything, although I do volunteer my opion, albeit unsolicited.
