Randi Has A Strategy That ALL LW-ers Would Do Well To Copy
And that is the open ridicule she is heaping on Rummy and Myer's childish testimony. She plays their words and she and her staff engage in a laugh-fest while their idiots spew their lies.

When you think about it, she's demeaning them in a mirror to what they do to others. It's priceless.

The bushies only hold power as long as the majority of Americans who actually vote believe they have credibility. Randi is leading the *no clothes on this empire* assault, and it is great.

2. I'm with you, bobbieinok...it's childish and does nothing
to advance the argument. One reason I do not listen to Randi. It's too bad - I was looking forward to a responsible liberal voice. :thumbsdown:

6. I can't laugh when the subject is torture
I recognize that ridicule is an effective tool, but I can't even generate fake canned laughs when torture is the subject of the converstation.

To tell you the truth, I really haven't laughed in almost 2 weeks.

14. That is called depression.

It is a medical condition. I hate to sound like a commercial, but if you have really been unable to laugh over the past 2 weeks and are not already taking medication for your problem you really should see a doctor.

15. I suffer from depression, but the torture photos simply deepened it.
I can't laugh either and find myself often at the point of tears. I'm ashamed to be an American right now. There's nothing we can do that will ever make things right with the Iraqis. Between Bush I and Bush II, we've just about committed genocide.

If you aren't a little depressed, maybe something is wrong with you.
