BBV: please phone or email CA Secretary of State office
Edited on Fri May-07-04 06:44 PM by Eric J in MN
The state of California is being sued by a group of blind voters after the CA Secretary of State required some counties to use optical scan ballots instead of electronic voting machines.

The complaint is that the blind won't be able to cast their ballots secretly.

But actually they can, if those counties buy the Automark from Vogue Election Systems.

Please contact the California Secretary of State's office and let thme know about the AutoMark from Vogue, so they can resolve this lawsuit.

1. Thank you for the heads up....my email........
I must first commend you on your decision to decertify Diebold and other electronic voting machines. It is critical that our voting process is as untainted as possible.

As a family member of a person with visual impairments, I am aware the disability community is presenting lawsuits because of access issues. Automark from Vogue Election Systems can address this problem without compromising our right to have our votes accurately counted.

If you are not already aware of www.blackboxvoting.com, please take the time to review the research.

Thank you.
