tin foil hat time re: Military "contractors" in Iraq....
I'm betting that sometime in the near future a document or testimony will emerge advocating-- or at least recognizing-- the creation of "market conditions" favoring the growth of private "security contractors," a.k.a. mercenaries. They're the ideal solution for the PNAC criminals, e.g. they funnel the "skills" of special forces and intelligence services personnel-- acquired at taxpayer's expense-- into organizations that operate outside the annoying constraints of the Geneva Conventions, Congressional authority, etc. This frees their "employees" to truely "be all they can be" when it comes to murder and mayhem abroad.

1. there are no sovereign nations only corporations and their puppets
so, of course, national military structures are now redundant. They serve only to train, as you said. Here:
the US Military is to Private Security Forces
as college football is to Professional Football

We train, they drain. And since it is doubtful any corporate entity has signed any pesky thing like the Geneva Convention, they are free to do as they damn well please. The only law they recognize is kill or be killed.

The human condition is perilous indeed when we have these corporate animals setting the tone for human interaction. They will stir and foment so much hatred in the world they will ultimately force everyone to take sides for protection.

The experiment was over a decade of hate radio. It went well for them. They saw how easy it was to sway a small, but vocal minority and use them to hold the greater society at bay. Now they will do it for real in the world. All they have to do is instill enough hate in an active minority and sane interactions for the greater good turn to insane warfare for the good of the few.

2. This was designed as and is a war for the corporations
therefore the corporations should have funded and staffed all of it. They could have taken their profits, not our taxes, then, take their employees and contractees, not our youth - to fight the war.

They could have let the stockholders know what they were doing and let them decide. It would have been a gamble of a different kind.

It's not too late to come clean about the corporate purpose...they're getting ready to take Cuba, it appears. Not with our taxes. Not with our youth. Let the corporations own Cuba. Let their CEOs appoint a CARICOM and UN representative and see if the world would send ambassadors.

Let's tell the truth about the corporate agenda which is a right wing agenda.

Let's not let OUR military do their work.
