I've been meaning to start a thread on a wider subject.
Our military, the best and brightest, is probably not either.
I'm guessing that the average IQ is between 85 and 90 or possibly
worse. This is one of the best reasons I know to bring back some
sort of national service... I know, professional army supposed to
be better trained and so on, but they don't pay enough to attract
any real talent. And what you end up with is highly trained
people with no independent or critical thinking. Or, in the
case of this battalion, not all that well trained or motivated
and no ability to think.
