Think GI's will React to GI's Being Hung on the "Abuse" Charges??

Walk carefully, oh mighty leader. Anyone who has been in the service gripes and bitches (even decades later) about the incompetent brass, etc. The propaganda tells us that all this 'mess' is a few "rotten apples" and they all seem to be GI Joe/Jane and maybe a Sargent. Now GI Joe and Jane and the veteran GI Joe and Jane right now are saying "oh bullshit". They know that someone either sanctioned it, suggested it, egged it on, or turned their backs and let it happen. Georgie can hang GI Joe and GI Jane in the courtyard......but will that endear him to GI Joe/Jane and their FAMILIES?? Watch your step Bush; you can very easily become just another "bastard" in the chain of command.

The Bush admin early on announced we would not abide by Geneva Conventions, would not enforce Army regs on interrogation of detainees, could lock up detainees without recourse or accountability, and on and on.

When will we Dems wake up and grasp this important connection. We MUST make this connection clear to the American people.

These were NOT just some dead enders doing this. THIS WAS US POLICY UNDER THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION!

So, like I said, if it comes down to them hanging a few GI's and not actually hanging all the way up the line to Myers, then watch the GI's morale go into the crapper. These guys are painting themselves into a corner. And guess what??---they might as well rat on their supreme leader right now because in the end, Bush will flush them if he's feeling the pressure within the GI and their families ranks.
