What I just heard on Faux News
I was curious to see how Fox was spinning this. What I got was a promo for Chris Wallace's show this Sunday which will show us all the good things our brave soldiers have done in Iraq for the average Iraqi citizen. Could they please get their heads out of their asses to address the subject of the torture of these prisoners and cover a real news story? How much money must Murdoch pay his coven of flying monkeys to sprout the Repug party line? If Clinton's administration would have done even 1/100th of the shit that Bush has done, Faux would have been calling for him to be publically executed!

1. Don't pollute your mind with their garbage.

ABC, NBC, CNN are bad enough.

2. Maybe Something Good Is Happening
Today, one of my "associates" who watches Faux and used to always cite it, tried to engage me on the torture mess. He's honestly torn as he knows this is real, real wrong, but has drunk too much Kool-Aid now and must detox.

He used to mention Faux all the time, now he's embarassed to say the word around me or anyone else. He now claims he likes watching CNN & MessyNBC. Supposedly, now that Stern's pissed at Bunnypants that did a lot to make him think about not voting for the oxygen thief in November.

I just get the feeling that being a Bunnypants supporter isn't as cool now as it was 6 months ago as it won't be in November.

Cheers!

3. "sure
American troops use homosexual humiliation and forced rape but look at this school we built, i mean c'mon! When we come back from the break, we'll look at how Clinton's penis hates freedom and puts our troops in danger."

4. Funny, the vast majority of blacks & hispanics don't commit crimes
and yet you don't hear rightwingers heaping praise on them (except for the occasional pandering photo op).

So why is it the media's doing the wrong thing for FINALLY exposing ASOMETHING negative about this war it has been cheerleading from the start?

That's their logic right? MOST of our troops are good & helping the Iraqis - Well, most blacks & hispanics are decent hardworking people, but repukes hate them all.

5. Yeah and there's a reason that violence gets all the press
If you can't walk down the street without fear of being blown up or taken into custody, who gives a CRAP how great your new school is, your working well, or whatever good works we may have done.

Without security you have nothing. Can you imagine if everyday in your hometown people were blown up and people you knew personally had been killed and tortured?
