It is Time for the President to Resign . . .
We must send the ultimate message to the rest of the world.

Bush must step down and accept responsibility.

For our country's sake.

To quell the storm that is just starting to gather strength.

To protect our country bush must resign.

Rumsfeld resigning is not enough . . . .

He and all the scum that pull his strings.

6. wont make a difference...
hes clearly not running things anyway. i mean rumsfeld admitted to not telling him about the photos until long after he himself had known about them. i just wonder what else bush isnt told by other members of his staff.

im by no means defending him here... im just saying, whats it gonna do having bush out of office? like cheney is gonna be any better? hell no, at least bush is trying to not look evil, cheney would pull out all the stops and probably be worse.

it would be symbolic at best, and people would see right through that as soon as they noticed NOTHING has changed.

7. We need to keep reminding the public
who was doing what to whom.

I think this is an excellent idea. An ongoing effort till the bu$h&co criminals are in prison.

9. The whole god-damned mal-administration MUST RESIGN!
Don't tell me it can't happen. IT CAN HAPPEN. All it takes is numbers and a will to see it through.

11. This is the kind of shit that DID NOT get exposed via Watergate.
The criminal corruption in our society goes deep into the "national security state". These photographs are systemic. This kind of brutality is what EMPIRES are about. As was said in the article at DU today http://www.democraticunderground.com/articles/04/05/07_story.html , rapes occur in OUR PRISONS on a daily basis. Nobody notices. Nobody cares.

It is time for all this to stop.

12. A thought I had while watching the hearings ...
Edited on Fri May-07-04 09:29 PM by BattyDem

No one could give a definitive answer as to who was in charge, who gave the orders, who knew what and when they knew it, what was the pResident told, when was the president told ... the list goes on and on.

The same thing happened when Condi testified before the 9/11 commission.

So if the Cabinet members don't know what the f*ck is going on and the pResident doesn't know what the f*ck is going on and no one in this administration is ever in the loop ... who the f*ck is running the country???

If we are to take them at their word, then that means they are all guilty of derilection of duty!

14. There are a lot of good points in that post.
Nobody takes real responsibility for anything . . . nobody seems to be in charge of anything. For someone who is running on being a "strong leader" bush has been anything but . .

For the sake of our country I ask bush to resign on JULY 4, 2004.

Ask bush to resign on July 4th 2004.

How about a march on Washington July 4th to demand the resignation of bush!

15. Jesus , I know it is Friday night but
somebody must be smokin' something if you think Rummy, Bush, or "the whole administration" is gonna resign.
Or is this just a Friday night mutual mastubation....???? It feels so good, just thinkin' about it.
