Can anybody tell me the name
and location where the non member of the House Committee, and elderly man (I would not call him a gentleman), who was permitted to speak by the Republican Chairman (I believe the man's name was Duke something) who delivered an unofficial slash against the black caucus and the young black coungressman who pleaded with Rumsfeld to care more for his country than for his power.

How dare the Republican chairman have permitted this man to speak, knowing he was going to insult the young congressman, when this Duke fellow wasn't even a member of the House committee? And how dare the Chairman have permitted the insult to be delivered, after the hearing was completed and the young black congressman had no chance of rebuttal?

What is "Duke's" last name? Where is he from? And how dare he openly insult the black caucus and the only black congressman who was permitted on the panel? How dare he?

And I am not even black.

Who is this man. And, since I watched the whole thing, almost twelve hours of it, who was the chair of the house committee? Remind me.

Thanks.

PS. I just signed up, less than fifteen minutes ago for some left wing internet radio. I have just been visited with an attempted download, unordered, unbidden, unknown, unwelcome, and undoubtedly a republican bunch of crap. I have declined the download, which had nothing to do with radio (by name) and ask you all to remember, there is nothing low enough, nothing criminal enough, nothing destructive enough, nothing beneath the republicans who want democrats silenced and disunited.

5. I'm Black and I'm Mad As Hell

I believe that was Congressman Meeks from Chicago.
He was very nice/polite(even too nice) in telling Rumball that he was going to call for his resignation. You could see Rummy turning red he was so mad.

Then the Congressman said something like, " With all due respect sir, what I am saying is not political. I have supported many of the bills that you asked me to, I have supported you in many instances. But, I feel that you should resign."

And then they let this idiot speak when the committee members were hurried along.
