I stand agaunst the Bush* admin on MORAL grounds
This is no longer about politics, it is about the future of "We The People" of the United States of America! We must decide what kind of people we are.

1. Politics is about morality and the future....
It's the way we express our morality and our wishes for the future in the civic arena. In my opinion.

5. Yes, and that should be the answer
when they say its all just 'politics'. This election is about more than just winning. The campaign theme for Kerry is starting to all come together now.

6. It's time we take back the moral high ground
This Bush* bunch has proven astoundingly incapable and inept. Their inepteness alone should disqualify them from office. They wear ignorance as a badge of honor even as they attempt to shove their view of the world down our throats. NO MORE. You won't get this from the media, spread the word, maybe we need a few Outrage meetups to get the word out, this bunch must be defeated if we expect to reclaim America. We ARE the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, I believe in Truth, Justice and the American Way and we need to find our way back there!

12. "The moral high ground"
Edited on Fri May-07-04 10:18 PM by Captain_Chaos
yes, but because of the ineptitude of the individuals leading this government, it won't happen until political pressure is brought to bear by a majority of voting members of the United States population.

7. "We must decide what kind of people we are."
That's got to be Kerry's slogan - it says it all.

13. What do we believe in?
We MUST NOT COMPROMISE OUR BELIEFS. These are the principles upon which we claim to stand, Equality, Justice, Democracy, Fairness. DEMOCRATIC principles that have carried us this 200 year plus bumpy road, warts and all. Let's get back to our core principles and stick to them. If we have integrity in this, good things will follow, unless we are a lost cause, in which case, we are complicit in the downfall of this one great nation. Bush* has singularly caused the destruction of the world's greatest democracy and we stood by and LET IT HAPPEN!

14. Bu$h Inc. have no moral legs to stand on. Just dead bodies for them
to sit on. And shout out to "We the People" that we should: Stay afraid and keep trusting a bully who taunts terrorist with "Bring it On" and other such stupid sound bites. Please continue to stand up against this court appointed band of warmongerers. You are not alone.
Peace

16. Dick Cheney warned us that they would use "unsavory" characters
to accomplish their goals.....so as much as I object to what is going on, we were warned and people weren't listening...they didn't think that our own people might become monsters...

17. We WERE listening
The media drowned us out in their thirst for a war to cover. CNN was a backwater of 24 hour news that no-one thought would amount to much. They had alot of filler and only one real commercial for the Cadillac Sterling back in 1990/1991 (Yes, I was likely an original and at the time admiring viewer, pregnant and hated soaps). Remeber Sally Jessie Raphael?? Then Gulf War 1 happened and they were relevant! No other outlet covered the war in such detail. Ratings went roofward. Careers were made. Commentary and punditry was born.

The pundit class took over and "decided what was important" guided, of course, by the PTB, those with the war making ability that is oh, so good for ratings. Truth was muffled in favor of drama.

It's hard to really hear through all the white noise. hopefully these idiots will get a conscience. Doubtful. We need to preserve the internet as the only true albeit flawed unfiltered news vehicle. Don't worry, they will shut this down too, in which case, we pull out the old printing press.
