Why does Hannity keep saying Kerry admitted to committing atrocities?
He keeps repeating that, if democrats are going to attack the president over the prison torture scandal, democrats should attack Kerry for committing war crimes which he has admitted to carrying out.

WHAT THE FUCK IS HE TALKING ABOUT?

2. he's comparing apples to oranges
it's a sick tactic...and wierd too, given the fact that freeptards and their ilk love unnecessary war violence...

Kerry's "crimes" were done in the pressure of combat in a war that had jumped the shark big time...

3. he's talking about Kerry , in the 70's in front of congress
Edited on Fri May-07-04 10:49 PM by soundgarden1
when he returned from the war and what he said. Google it.
Violations of the Laws of war, like free-fire zones, torching villages that kind of thing.

Interesting that Hannity should bring this up, because in Hannity's mind US soldiers are sent by Jesus Christ and do the work of the Lord
and did no wrong in Vietnam or Iraq.

Its a sign of how desperate Hannity is, he's floundering - and very likely going to have a nervous breakdown as we've been expecting for a while now.

4. Apparently Kerry once said something
about killing women and children in 'Nam. Maybe in his 70's Senate testimony. I don't know exactly what he said, but the Pugs have been going on about it for a while now.

7. first, hanity is a liar.
next, I think when Kerry testified before congress in 1971 and testified about atrocities. Rather than point the finger, Kerry the soldier owned up to it because he is a soldier. I don't think Kerry specifically said, I raped women, or I tortured people, blah blah blah. This scum bag hannity will berate decorated war heros, yet gush all over the man that was missing for 18 months. hannity doesn't deal in truth. Really, I can't think of a good reason to listen/watch this whore...Kevin.

13. my bad...
you are right. Listening to him will help us learn how the Nazis 'programmed' the citizens to agree and obey. When I listen to him. I just get annoyed and angry. That really isn't how I want to live my life, so radio dial jumps very quickly to take him out of my speakers :) ...Kevin.

12. Kerry followed orders in Vietnam
Orders being indiscriminate killing. But the difference is Kerry came back and repented and then turned around and fought the atrocities and tried to bring his brothers home and prevent further atrocities.

Hannity, being a pussy chickenhawk, wouldn't know.

16. Kerry's 1971 anti war activities
he admitted he had participated in "free fire" zones which are against the Geneva Conventions

A few days before his Senate testimony, Kerry gave the following account on NBC's "Meet the Press":

MR. KERRY (Vietnam Veterans Against the War): There are all kinds of atrocities and I would have to say that, yes, yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed in that I took part in shootings in free-fire zones. I conducted harassment and interdiction fire. I used 50-caliber machine guns which we were granted and ordered to use, which were our only weapon against people. I took part in search-and-destroy missions, in the burning of villages. All of this is contrary to the laws of warfare. All of this is contrary to the Geneva Conventions and all of this ordered as a matter of written established policy by the government of the United States from the top down. And I believe that the men who designed these, the men who designed the free-fire zone, the men who ordered us, the men who signed off the air raid strike areas, I think these men, by the letter of the law, the same letter of the law that tried Lieutenant Calley, are war criminals.

17. You gotta turn of Faux
I stopped watching them along time ago. Hannity is doing what they all do....Lie, distort, spin and repeat. Thats what his audience wants from him and he delivers. Sometimes when something is repeated enough people will start believing it and thats what his network does. Now stop giving them ratings points, you're better than that.

18. Kerry and Kerrey
should both demand an apology from this idiot, this deliberate idiot.
They are planting identity confusion about the old revelations of Bob Kerrey's wet work ops. Probably will accuse him of being Governor of NY(Carey) or a temperamental pop singer (Mariah Carey).

In any event do they intend to smear all Vietnam vets to squelch the truth? Those twisters were always from the Right.
