Just who are the 'uncivilized' 'immoral' people of the world?

Methinks its the people who spend most of their time and money and other resources to build more and more sophisticated weapons, bombs, and technology to wage war on mostly defenseless people togain more and more material wealth and power. Not to use these weapons and materials for DEFENDING itsself but rather to wage war on others.

that's who.

We could say, well, it's just the Bush regime or conservatives.

But this is a problem that transcends political party.

US militarism is a fact under both Repubs and Dems. US waging offensive wars is a fact under both.

US troops involved in abuse and atrocities is a fact under both (besides Vietnam, there have been some recent posts about abuse in Bosnia and Kosovo more recently).

And Americans, for all they like to think of themselves as good people with only the best of intentions, are just as much to blame, exactly because of their self-righteous self-image.

Unfortunately, too many Americans seem to need to be in a militaristic superpower. And that by definition is uncivilized an immoral.
