The only option remaining to prevail in the war and the world
Think things are bad enough now?

Guess again.

The Bushistas are now completely bankrupt. There can be no more persuasion -- the only thing they have left is pure destructive force.

They have set us on a disastrous course. The war, and our relations with the rest of the world, just got a LOT worse last week.

The Bushistas cannot turn this around -- it is impossible.

The only way we can hope to prevail in this war and survive as a credible leader in the world is to demonstrate our moral leadership by impeaching Bush et al and indicting them for war crimes.

Yes, I have been an opponent of His Chimperial Highness all along, but at this point I am calling for his impeachment dispassionately. Truly, it is the only course we can take to demonstrate that we are still a credible civilization.

All we are saying is give impeachment a chance.

1. If there was ever someone that deserved impeachment, it is Dubya Bush
But, it is not in the cards. We have to get him and his supporters out of power before the damage is irreversible.

2. Wouldn't that be nice?
Not a chance in hell of it happening though. Not with the Republicans controlling the House.

The only way to restore our countries prestige in the world is for the next president to reach out to our allies and enemies alike. It can happen, but it will take some humility on our parts.

3. I used to think a Kerry victory would be enough
I have posted on numerous occasions here that the beginning of the end of these horrific times would be the election of John Kerry in November. The whole world is holding their breath, waiting to see the outcome. They WANT to be on the same side as the Americans -- they truly do -- but Bush is making it absolutely impossible.

I was actually optimistic!

However -- given the disclosure of photographic evidence of war crimes -- the ante went up, by an order of magnitude.

Ousting Bush in 2004 is no longer enough to begin to repair America's standing in the world. He must now instead be impeached, and indicted for war crimes. THEN the world -- our friends and our enemies -- will know that America is a serious and meaningful leader in the world. Only by restoring our honor will we become strong again.

Yeah yeah yeah -- I know technically at present impeachment is not possible. That's too bad. So -- expect things to get a LOT worse, and keep getting worse. I am saying we have a CHANCE to stop the hemorraging of our nation's prestige now, at this present moment -- impeach Bush et al. I am also saying that if we do not take it now -- things are going to get much much much worse. I have said for years that these extremist bastards would destroy our country before they would relinquish their power -- and, my dears, that is what they are going to start to do. Having completely obliterated our country's prestige and moral authority -- the only remaining option is terrifying force. As painful as impeachment would be, it would be a teddy bear picnic compared to the world war, chaos, economic ruin and turmoil which will unfold. I hope some sane people remaining in the Republican party understand what is at stake, and, as I am doing, and view this matter dispassionately as absolutely necesaary long-term strategy -- and impeach Bush.
