Bar Bush's beautiful mind
"...why should we hear about body bags, and deaths, and how many, what day it's gonna happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it's, it's not relevant. So, why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?"
-- Barbara Bush on ABC/Good Morning America, March 18, 2003

Wonder what her feelings are about the prison horrors. If American soldiers' deaths are not relevant, she must be totally amazed anyone is paying any attention to such an insignificant issue as abuse of Iraqi prisoners.

1. For her, those pictures probably inspire masturbation.

2. Geeze....Barbara Bush said that on Good Morning America?
...No wonder most republicans maintain a blind eye to what is happening in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the atrocities that go on right here at home in our own prison systems and other places. So it's about protecting their "beautiful minds". I'm sure it's also about protecting their tax breaks, their SUV's, their neighborhoods and their privileged place in American society.

3. Yes, and
surprise, surprise! It got no mainstream media coverage. If Hillary Clinton had said something like that, there would hve been 24-hour cable news talk fests about it for months, it would have been used in all the ditto-head fundraising letters, etc. Why can't our side ever capitalize on anything?;(

10. They never let up on Hillary
saying she wasn't going to be some Tammy Wynette staying home baking cookies. And that was such a no issue statement.

5. Amen to that....

Spread the word, everyone.

4. Got an email from her last night
"This election is going to be a tough one. That is why I'm asking for your support. For months the President has been facing negative advertising from John Kerry and all sorts of pro-Kerry groups. I've been particularly disappointed in the personal attacks."

Oh and she's so proud of her children.

Blechhh!

8. I think her attitude is shared by many Americans
Too many refuse to watch the news and question their jingoism. They don't want to see the coffins, the injured soldiers, or the dead babies and maimed civilian Iraqi's. Instead, they want to see the war as a computer game. I would guess 40 percent of Americans would say that they chose not to look at the Iraqi torture pictures.

9. Hers is the mind of Dorian Gray
At least Lucretia Borgia repented for her early years and what chance would a girl have growing up as daughter to the most powerful man in the Western World?

As for Babs Bush, beautiful anythig? no. Narcissistic ? probably. In denial? Yes.
EVIL? absolutely.

I guess she gets more beautiful the worse things get.

11. Manchurian candidate's mom
That's how I always think of Barbara Bush. Under the guise of patriotism, she worked to create a son who would destroy the country.
