Iraqi Castration...Could this be true?!
A friend was saying that the Iraqi prisoner seen wrapped in cellophane and kept on ice may have been CASTRATED either before or after he died (could that have been what caused his death?).
Anyway, there are apparently rumors going around that the object laying on top of him, and wrapped in what looks like aluminum foil is actaully his genitals.

If this is true, this whole situation is getting sicker by the minute.

1. That would be CIA activity
I seriously doubt some 21 y.o. in the NG could stomach that.

4. I don't know
But my mind can accept it because of all I've seen heard this week. I'll tell you, though, this is why they might as well release the other photos and videotapes, our imaginations can get carried away ( or not ) and rumors float around.

It seems that someone is drip drip dripping Bush.

CIA revenge?

Patriotic elements in the pentagon?

This is a the story that is not getting covered.

12. that thought has occurred to me as well
It does seem like revenge to me as well. I wonder if it was simply info. that accidentally was "leaked" or was this information purposefully "leaked"?

Lots of ?'s - few answers.

19. Apparently, several senior officers are talking to the press,...
...in an anonymous fashion, and they are pointing the finger at Rummy and the rest of the NeoCons for getting us into this mess. Is it possible that those senior officers are orchestrating the release of the photos and videos to make Rummy and the NeoCons look bad? After all, hasn't it been reported that more videos and photos are coming soon?

The GOPers like Bush don't worry about anyone cutting their nads off, because they don't have any! At least that guy didn't go AWOL when his country was invaded! WE are all going to pay for the stupidity you see there! I hope Jerry and Pat are watching! Why wouldn't the Iraqi people fight back?

18. Hmm
It could be true. It sure looks like the goons broke at least his left arm. Look at the bruises on the guy's hand as well. What were they doing? Stomping on his hands with boots? Using a vice? And what's the deal with the guy's right arm? Why the weird angle at the forearm? Why does it extend so much lower than his left arm?

Torture, my friends. Perpetrated and sanctioned by agents of our elected government. And I'm not talking about the six yahoo MP's who're facing court martial. Editorials shouldn't be calling for Rumsfeld's resignation. They should be calling for very public investigations.

20. "Radioactive"
Rumsfeld said, the material out there is "radioactive"................
So let's assume radioactivity is something one should handle very carefully............was it a warning from Rumsfeld???!!!

22. Sad to say, myself and many others in the World are beyond surprise
.
.
.

at anything this Maladministration will be accused of now, or in the future.

The US has by their own declaration, troops in 130 countries.

The World has watched the US become the ever-increasing bully in its behavior.

So yeah, I'd believe it, and any other evil behavior that the mind could imagine.

Sadly, this is where the US is now.

The World has judged.

US credibility is zip.

That's My Canuk Opinion.

(sigh)

23. Doesn't strike me as consistent...
if one has viewed this person as subhuman which enables one to beat to death ... to the point of castration... why would one carefully preserve the evidence to go along with the body (a sign of some sort of respect in a sick sort of way)? Furthermore if the point of putting the prisoner in ice - was to try to 'delay' the time of death - and to coverup that death was related to incarceration rather than due to crime (war or otherwise ...) then why preserve evidence to be sent on with the body that this was not just a random casualty or victim of crime.

The pictures, reports, etc. leave no doubt in my mind that awful, heinus things happened - but per this picture and this incident - the "castration and perserve and send on the castrated body part with the body" doesn't make any sense. Then again these folks were video taping, photographing, and passing along the internet to buddies statoned bac at the base...
