JH: "Hey Dumb Ass! Coming 9/11!" So their statement that they didn't have the information is outrageous.

SE: And they have been backing off from that. About two weeks before Condoleezza Rice appeared before the 9/11 Commission she made the statement, "We had no specific information." And I told the press that that was an outrageous lie. That was printed on the front page of The Independent and several other papers here. And what she did during the hearing was very interesting. She corrected herself saying, "Well, I made a mistake. I should not have said 'we.' I should say that I personally did not have specific information." And that is exactly what I stated. "We" includes the FBI, and therefore I can tell you with 100% certainty that that is an outrageous lie.

Yet the Commission didn't ask, "Well, who is the rest of this 'we'?"


JH: They don't want to know.

SE: No, they don't want to know. This is the heart of it......

The 911 commission knows this, the lies of Condi, ASScroft et al are just too transparent to hide. If the commission continues to cover this up, our nation will have no credibility for decades to come.

all too true. Listening to BBC radio last night, there seemed to be a general consensus that Americans where living in a state of disconnect.

...intelligence background, national security background, and legal training or any kind of substantial political experience in Washington, D.C., recognizes that the obstruction of evidence concerning so many relevant circumstances related to 911, the "terrorists" in the US, and the anthrax attacks tend to show that it was an inside job. Reasonable suspicion leading to evidence of probable cause is almost a given, if you had a serious investigation and someone to act as prosecutor. The problem is that the highest officials of the executive branch are the wrongdoers and the other two branches are controlled by their agents and adherents. Therefore, the commission doesn't go where it doesn't want to see.

In terms of political perception and survival instinct, what public persona will be the first to engage in the public accusation of what amounts to treason when it will never be shown? You can publicly make a fool of yourself and suggest this and impale yourself a la Cynthia McKinney or you can go along and get along and maybe profit. The purpose of this commission is to outline a plausible case of negligence and conceal any evidence of bad faith and intentional wrongdoing.

The duty of the Commission is to maintain the myth of a legitimate government with functioning checks and balances when all that is gone for the time being.

they are literally letting people get away with murder.
Not to mention they seem happy to play cheer-leading squad for the PATRIOT act!

It's time to duck and cover!
