Should I be offended when DUers refer to female Dems as "whores?"

I'm mainly a lurker, but I enjoy the site just as well--except for when I see female Democrats (such as Hillary Clinton) referred to as "whores." Moreso than the word "bitch," I think this is a word that should not be used in reference to women, especially Democrat women! Just my thoughts...

anyone who sells themselves is a whore, male or female.

And a whore can be a man or a woman, and if one has committed actions worthy of being called a "whore", then they are a "whore", regardless of who is offended.

the presence of ovaries doesn't automatically preclude one from a odius moniker.

I've never seen a male referred to as a "whore" on this site.

Anyone who engages in the kind of Pravda-style propaganda that these guys do for their neocon masters deserves to be called a whore, regardless of their gender and regardless of who gets offended by that term.

As for Dems, Hillary often gets called a whore because she's perceived (and not incorrectly, in my view) as someone who's willing to compromise principles for her own personal benefit, not because of anything that has to do with her gender or sexuality.

i have also been using bush comment on pussy, and to me that is very offensive and can only use in terms of bush saying out loud to reporters and cause he used that term in the most degrading and disresptful, i have been using so when i say to others they can feel the offensiveness

what is really bothering me of late though with women, is the using women for torture like in gitmo women stripping and fondling themselves and smearing menstraul blood on men. our soldier our government did this. what are they saying to me. i am angry more people arent offended that they would take the woman and degrade them in the name of torture.

i am bothered that a detainee is having "sex" with a soldier in iraq. RAPE.........yet we put out on news sex

i am offended that it is seeming as if the last 30 years of work of males not being permitted to rapes and degrade women have gone to the wayside with this administration in so many ways.
