So the same outfit with its half-trillion dollar deficit, unwinnable wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, led by a simpering nitwit, is to add "battling global anti-Semitism" to its list of goals. Has anyone suggested that NOT attacking Israel's enemies, and NOT adopting its techniques of occupation, assassination, humiliation etc. would do MORE than an infinity of U.S. Congressional efforts to curb anti-Semitism ?

When you have invaded other countries on only the flimsiest of pretexts, murdering tens of thousands, then placed thousands more in detention so they can be used for whatever sick, perverted fun they can provide, a normal person might hesitate to enlist your help in the religion and moral crusade known as "combating anti-Semitism". But not Tom Lantos !

He couldn't care less what state our adventure in the Middle East leaves this country in. So long as there is a dollar in our treasury and one warm body to carry a gun, Lantos must make sure that top priority is standing guard against another Holocaust (at least of Jews).

Does anyone even ask where in the Constitution is the US Congresss apppointed as world-wide guardian of Jewry ? Or do questions of this kind concern the good Mr. Lantos ? Obviously not.
