USA, inc. is bankrupt.
Remember how George told us that he would run the country as a company, with him as CEO?? He DOES have that MBA, after all.. His minions love to crow about the fact that a republican president is the FIRST ever to have an MBA..

To be fair to George, he IS running the country like a corporation.....ENRON..

That would be one that he has a real affinity for anyway, since its founder KennyBoy was a famously generous contributor to George...

The problem with running a country like a company is this, George..

A CEO of a company, has a lot of control over their employees.. A President is OUR employee...not the converse.

As lots of CEOs have found lately, too, when the shit really hits the fan, it DOES reach all the way up to the CEO..

George cannot have it both ways. He cannot continue to use the excuse of "no one told me". As CEO it's HIS JOB TO KNOW. If he is too stupid or disengaged to be told, then he is shirking his duties, and owes us all an apology and a refund of what we have paid him...and reimbursement for all the perks, too. If he KNOWS, and has been deviously denying complicity, then he needs to be tried in a court of law, and sent to the Grey Bar Hotel.

He has bankrupted us by squandering our present, and embezzling our future. He has lost our connection to the rest of the world, by appearing to be a cocky blowhard who cannot work with others.

He has used up our good will by starting an illegal war, and now has to answer for war crimes committed by HIS military. We all know how he loves to use the first person possessive. MY country..MY government..MY WhiteHouse..MY military.. He cannot now, distance himself, when he has clung so dearly to what he thought was his and his alone.

He stole it..He broke it..He owes us BIGTIME...

6. "He owes us BIGTIME"
And he'll never pay. He'll never endure anything remotely commensurate to his crimes. The worst that can happen to George W Bush, pampered megalomaniac ne'er-do-well, is a denial of the chance to continue his wreckage from the Oval Office. Sucks out loud, but win or lose, Dubya will still enjoy the fortunes of his charmed life.

14. Great post, SoCal. And your graphic.... They tried to tell us this War is
going well, just like the glowing reports about the Economy and Jobs all over this weekend. Jumping up and down about how "the economy is hitting on all cylinders (heard on CNN) and yet we know just like Bush's endless war, it's all lies, lies, lies.

Thanks for saying it so well.

15. The smiles I see on his face tells me he don't really care
I don't really care about him either. What will the rest of us do when he is gone? Bush is not good enough or smart enough to stay there for very much longer. If you can't see the handwriting on the wall, take a course in descriptive graffiti or something

Things are also bound to get worse in different ways no matter what happens. Don't put all your eggs in that bush basket, others will take up that other one that has nothing in it and say you owe them for the ones that are missing out of it.
