Remember during the Monica mess, the big question was,
what are the parents supposed to tell their children when they hear discussions on TV about Clinton's behavior. They (the repupgs) were beside themselves that Clinton brought this disgusting behavior to the eyes and ears of their innocent children. Now we have these pictures plastered all over the newspapers and TV. No way little kids can avoid seeing them and hearing the description. But the repug think it's OK. After all the Iraqis are getting what they deserve and besides it's only a frat prank. Double standards all the way around. I'm not even going to mention the howling that went on over Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl.

3. There is something fundamentally wrong with a society...
...that is offended by the flash of a breast, and sent into hysterics by a Presidential blow-job, but never, ever question war or big business. I'm sick of the attitude of the "average" American.

4. And let's not forget the implication
that those who are not from America and are not Christian are subhuman. (Apologies to Christians on this board-I am referring to the right wing fundamentalists who rail against Islam. I realize that many Christians are actually practicing their faith, and I am not talking about them).

7. Jesus said: "I have sheep you know not of."
Anyone ever think these sheep might be Hindus or Muslims or Buddhists
Or some other group or individual. Sure Christ died for the sins of all, but are there other paths to God? Jesus says so.

13. Absolutely!
In one of my daily prayers, I say:

"Allow us to recognize Thee in all Thy Holy Names and Forms:
As Rama, as Krishna, as Shiva, as Buddah.
Let us know Thee as Abraham, as Solomon, as Zarathustra,
As Moses, as Jesus, as Mohammed,
And in many other names and forms, known and unknown to the world..."

Jesus also said, "In my Father's house are many mansions..."

One of my favorite Christian prayers says in part:
"Oh my Jesus, Lead all souls to heaven...Especially those who are in most need of Thy Mercy."

Greetings to you, my Christian brother.

8. Exactly.
Seeing a video of Monica kissing Bill on the cheek every 10 minutes was NOTHING in comparison to trying to explain why some Iraqi guy is standing on a box with wires attached to him and a black hood over his head.

10. The only thing I'm enjoying about this is watching them defend it.
Their true colors have come out.......they are fucking Nazis. We know it, they know it, now everybody knows it. Thats why they get so upset when people compare ChimpCo Inc. to the Third Reich. They know its the truth. Republicans can't stand the truth.

Why do Republicans hate America?

Why are the Republicans enabling the terrorists?

14. TELL me about it! We had a talk show on TV last night and
my 11-year-old son came into the room, and we had to turn the TV off. Guess what photos were being shown and talked about?

And these are the same bent folks who think bush is wonderful and the Iraqi people, for the most part, are SO much better off than they were before we wonderful, saintly Americans overthrew Saddam. Led by our WONderful saintly pResident! But Clinton? Sex! Shit! How they propose to get around THIS sex shit is gonna be interesting...

17. I believe what we're going through now is expressly right wing.

The comparison to the damage to children is valid.

Most of those kids have already grown up to understand that people cheat and perhaps one of their parents cheated or a parent of a friend.

But the right wing brought us their corporate war with all varieties of corporate partnerships that we, the taxpayers, had no say in.

The partnerships brought us the worst kind of debased morality - ESPECIALLY because it was done to possibly innocent people who may have thought they would be killed or starved or shackled or isolated, BUT HAD NO IDEA that Bush's corporate partners would unleash stealth and intelligence torturers who knew exactly what the Iraqi men revered (we are told it was a sacredness of the body and distaste for homosexuality and homo and heter anal sex). Well, it certainly looks like the Mil Intel and their contractors picked up on their vulnerabilities and maximixed the torment-torture which must have certainly touched the soul.

Monica was not a prisoner. Monica was not raped. Monica had fun. Monica was in love.

How much more blunt can the comparison be.

So let's hear it you grandparents who call into Washington Journal and tell us of your devotion to the administration of Bush and his wonderful leadership.

These were not errant kids or doped up adults. These people had direction, approval, and guidance.

So where is the Propaganda Batallion of pundits and experts who landed on cable and the networks to tell us how immoral Clinton was.

The irony of the comparison of drama and degree is overwhelming.
