We need absolute and total unity here NO NADERISM! NONE! People who vote for Nader are not really serious about evicting Bush from the White House.

I couldn't agree more.

Why is Nader even running? All he does is hurt the Democratic nominee. He doesn't siphon off votes from the right.

If we are serious about evicting Bush, voting for Nader only hurts the cause.

On that matter, any ideas of who Kerry might choose as his running mate?

And if Kerry asks Hilary, would there be a reasonable chance she might accept?

Although I like her for the most part (except for some of her votes such as for IWR), I think she would be a terrible choice. Now THERE is a polarizing figure.

i agree. EVERYONE should vote for kerry. there should be no votes for a third or fourth party candidate. in 2000, nader received a little over 2% of the overall votes. imagine if those votes were for gore instead yeah? more of a chance of gore winning, or still making bush look the chumley for getting a million LESS votes than the "loser" . . .. :thumbsup:

Went To Pete Sessions Open House today.

He had his head handed to him on a platter.

The crowd was quite negative.

He and Sam Johnson tried to spin the republican message to no avail.

And that Sessions is history.

You should have seen Sessions and the Republicans squirm today at the Open House.

At one point Sessions looked totally dejected.

I think they anticipated some negativity but they got an earful today.

Let's just hope the middle that gets suckered into voting for him does not wise up to the fact that he has a far-left shift in mind once he wins. The middle needs to believe Kerry in sincere about their concerns before he makes his way back to the left.

34. Contact your county's democrat group
google it. Then email them or call them. All you have to do is fill out a form, they sign it, then you can register people to vote on the SPOT.

I did it recently and damn it feels good.

DO IT! DON'T WAIT!!! Voter registration, voter turnout is a MUST.

However, summer break is in a few days. As the only internet access I have is through a university Ethernet connection, I lose my internet access (and DU:cry:) until late August.

My little project will have to come directly from the Bible.:) I need to have it ready by the time I return to school.

45. got my kerry welcome packet today!!!!!! wooo hoooo!!!
i put clear packing tape on the window sign (so it won't get messed up)and stuck it to my garage outside for the world to see. also put up kerry bumperstickers on my front window. just waiting for my yard sign now and i'll be set.
