Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. the mark of a real military leader!
Edited on Sun May-09-04 09:27 AM by Hubert Flottz
Soldiers Sailors and Marines like John McCain and John Kerry learned this important lesson in self discipline in the military! GW Bush must have been absent from the training session that discussed that most important bit of military information! John Kerry is condemned by the likes of Cheney, Rove, Bush and the other GOP Un-Americans who berate veterans like Kerry and call him a flip flopper, because he's learned that to win one must, Improvise. Adapt. Overcome! The GOP mis-leadership will trash a man who fought for his country while they cowered behind their excuses, as to why they did not choose to serve their country in a time of war! The non-military minded GOP leadership fails to understand the fact, that the ability to Improvise. Adapt. Overcome, aka Flip Flop, is the mark of a TRUE LEADER not only in military matters, but for the rest of their lives and in the face of the unforeseen and the unavoidable!

Bush calls the important ability to Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. aka flip flop as a flaw on John Kerry's part and in the same breath, has the gall to put forth the stupid question; "Who is more qualified to serve as Commander in Chief?"

People who are unable to change their minds as new factors develop, are people who place their own pride and ego over every other consideration! They look out for number one! They in short, are anything but fit to command armies! A good Commander faces responsibility, realizes when he is wrong, admits errors to himself and the troops and corrects things for the good of every serviceman and woman! A good Commander would feel guilty if he ask his troops to do things that he himself, was unwilling to do also!

Now I ask you, who would you prefer as CIC, a man who early on learned to freely change course as conditions change and was able to clearly see the need to Improvise. Adapt. Overcome., or the inflexible GW Bush, who places his pride before his duty over and over?
