Corporate Leadership
When a corporation is run well, it shows. It's employees are well-treated and respected. It's bottom line is solid, and there are rigid controls in place that call for accountability at all levels. When a corporation is not run well, well, then you get Enron. Then, you get Halliburton, Worldcom, Tyco. The list goes on and on.

When George W. Bush took office he took pride in running the White House and the Government like a corporation. He was the CEO in chief - except he forgot that the White House is not a corporation, he is Commander in Chief, not CEO, and that you tell the truth to Americans, you don't market your position, giving the best possible picture at all costs. And unlike their well run counterparts, a good corporations slogans are not just "words". Increasingly this White House, which was backed by many of those bad corporations - is turning out to be the worst one of them all.

Quite simply all you have to do is look at the lack of accountability.

1) Bush never takes the blame for anything, EVER - and has yet to admit making any mistakes in office.
2) All of his top advisors are vigorously defended while those that expose wrongdoing are chased down and threatened.
3) Donald Rumsfeld is still Defense Secretary.
4) No one has taken responsibility for the treasonous act of exposing Valerie Plame as a CIA operative.
5) There has never been a more secretive Administration, ever. We aren't allowed to see how they keep their books.

I could go on and on, but it just gets too depressing.
