Bush's short statement after meeting with Rumsfeld tomorrow AM...?

"well, I just talked with the Secretary of Defense and.....uh.....we had a good conversation about.....uh.......what's been going on with the detainees over in Iraq...And we.........uh.......after consulting with the Joint Chiefs and other military leaders....have decided that we will get to the bottom of this. I have the utmost confidence in our Defense Secretary...uh....he is one of the best Defense Secretaries we have ever had...

So we are going to ask that.......uh.....Congress appropriate more funds to protect our troops over there....Uh......they are doing a wonderful job under very difficult circumstances....We want to make sure they are protected with the best equipment and......uh...they deserve it....I have requested that the Defense Secretary report back to me each week to.....uh......study the progress we are making in getting to the bottom of this...."
