DU is one of the few places where the bar is set reasonably high enough that we can have decent discussions and expose what those rats are up to with most people contributing in the same direction.

There are a hundred other boards where people can go bicker with idiots who think torture is nothing more than a garden party. The last thing we need is to have our decent discussion diluted by freepers.

People who want to "play", need to go play elsewhere. We have a country to take back & plenty of shit to expose.

If they're all "Sieg Heil" and obnoxious, yeah ditch em. But we should avoid kicking people out just because they don't fit the party line.

They shouldn't have to keep their views a secret, but they shouldn't be disruptive either. I like the idea of a freeper forum. No freeper (or anyone) should get banned for anything they do there. If it becomes obnoxious, people won't want to got there.

FR and DU tend to breed more divisiveness, what our country doesn't need. A nice healthy discussion with the other side might win over some of them, but we'd have to be willing to listen to and understand them.

Every now and then I venture into Freeperland. It's crazy, some people are nice and OK, but some viciously attack each other. There are people pissed at Bush (thought perhaps for different reasons). Some are angry at Bush for undermining the Constitution, corruption, the war etc.

Freeper Forum = Free Speech Zone :-)

While I'm not generally a spiteful person, I take relish in watching the idelogues choke on their own hypocrisies...going from the barely defensible (which was where they were prior to 2000) to absolutely bankrupt.

We've had to endure 3 years of incredible slams, attacks, lies and deceptions...many gleefully urged on by "operatives" (I like using their words) of the flying monkey right. Much of this is based on selfishness and ignornace...two of my major pet peeves. To watch them be minimalized in our political dynamic for at least 3 or 4 years will be well worth watching.

I'm one who lives by the saying "Hold your dear ones near and your enemies nearer". I like to hear the most outlandish things the monkeys have to offer, and if they want to bring it here, that's fine...saves me time (there'll forever be Freeper posts cited and linked on this place for our general amusement), and if they dare to come out and debate...BRING IT ON! LOL.

Maybe we could have a section of the forum for people who get banned from the regular forum. Instead of getting Tombstoned you could send them to Hell.

Then those of us you like to waste our time on trying to rationalize with these folks can have a place to play?

It might be fun to do a one month trial and see how it goes?

Is to save DU as it is. It is a sanctuary where you can go without DittoMonkeys screaming in your ear. If they could be caged in one hellish forum, then some here could go after them. Please don't allow them with the general population. They already have the whole media working with them.
