Conservatives Uneasy about Bush Policies
Rate this mother a 5, please. :) It's on the Yahoo main page right now

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=1802&ncid=1802&e=1&u=/washpost/20040510/ts_washpost/a13027_2004may9

One tasty tidbit:

Conservatives have become unusually restive. Last Tuesday, columnist George F. Will sharply criticized the administration's Iraq policy, writing: "This administration cannot be trusted to govern if it cannot be counted on to think and, having thought, to have second thoughts." Two days earlier, Robert Kagan, a neoconservative supporter of the Iraq war, wrote: "All but the most blindly devoted Bush supporters can see that Bush administration officials have no clue about what to do in Iraq tomorrow, much less a month from now."

1. Seriously, who the hell is voting for Bush in November?
My only answer is hatemongers and theocrats, each of whom hopes Bush will rid the earth of all others not like themselves. Scarily enough, we seem to have a LOT of these assholes.

2. People like the guy I saw with a truck decal that said
"IRAQ--Whip Their Ass; Take Their Gas"

4. I used to be the conservatives who believed that
You can't force a country to change by invading and blowing up the place. They used to say that it was liberals who thought you could force people to change by force. Now it seems that we are changing places. It's about time that conservatives understand that being against the war is not anti american.

6. How bad is it when the cons even see the total failure
of this trainwreck. Im surprised they even mentioned it. Everyone knows it. It just isnt mentioned in media or other right wing circles.
