I wonder if when they send there talking points to CNN,MSNBC and FOX if they all start with the heading. Today's talking points from "America's Popular Wartime President. We all know they send out there talking points thanks to Keith Oberman ratting them out.

WASHINGTON — President Bush's approval rating dropped to the lowest of his presidency in a poll taken after a week of revelations about abuse of Iraqi prisoners and questions about whether Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld should keep his job.

--snip--

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/polls/2004-05-10-bush-poll_x.htm

This only goes to show that not even Gallup can hold him up any longer. BUt the amazing thing is the disconnect between approvals and election numbers.

Good quote:

"Kerry went from 47% to 50% in a week; Bush went from 47% to 44%. Mellman said that suggests Kerry's ad campaign and events in Iraq are taking a toll on Bush. He also said the only president "this far behind" at this point in an election year was Gerald Ford, and he lost."
