Jonah Goldberg thinks torture photos shouldn't have been released.

Let's get this straight. His mother helped us lose 1998 and half of 1999 over the Lewinsky affair by encouraging Linda Tripp to tape Monica Lewinsky.

But now, the media must be responsible.

Somebody slap him.

Tweed knew then, as Jonah knows now, that the illiterates who support the fascist machine may not understand descriptions of torture, but they sure get up in arms when they see graphic representations of it!

He's absolutely right when he said this wouldn't have been a story if the pics wouldn't have been shown, but that would have been wrong!

I can't remember who to give credit to, but the comment is something like, the one that keeps a democracy honest is a critical press.
