Dennis Kucinich for Vice President!
Honour, integrity and he's been right the whole time.

"Imagine if we had spent that 87 billion dollars on health care and the domestic economy, instead of invading a sovereign nation and creating a disaster of incredible proportions."

But the DLC would never allow it to happen.

6. Neither would John Kerry
Dam.. Kerry has not even condemned the Patriot Act.
I do not favor Kucinich just being a back door man..His ideas are too valuable in the Congress or out in the general arena..We will need him after november whoever is president-to fight bad trade deals, etc.
He does not need be president...His presidential campaign has only enhanced his effect upon policy debate. Probably more influential as chair of progressive caucus, over being told to shut up by Kerry's chief of staff...
After fighting to stop the takeover of Cleveland's municipal power utility- Hurrah, Kucinich is 'un-hushable.'A profile in courage.

3. I always
supported DK and still wish that he was the front-runner. Him as president is a dream for me, the most liberal of the democratic candidates.

It angers me to no end to hear the mindless repukes going on about how liberal Clinton and Kerry are. These people have NO CLUE what a true liberal is.

4. That would be cool
But I'd guess they'd want a moderate of some kind to balance out how liberal Kerry is. Too bad though, I think a progressive would bring in more disenfranchised liberals than a conservative would bring in centrists.

15. If Gore was so liberal that he needed Lieberman to balance him out
Then Kerry is liberal too, at least according to the Party establishment.

7. We would lose the election
Let's be practical, we need somebody to appeal to the independents.
This is not the time to select a lefty.

9. let's not be practical
Everytime we have candidates run a "practical" race, we lose. Screw being practical. Be exciting instead.

10. Give him a national.....
...audience and Kucinich will deliver a great variety of concerned voters......His ideas are much more mainstream than the media directed personification of his campaign......I had the privilege of speaking with DK in an intimate dinner setting last week....He is brilliant and focused.....As matters in Iraq/Afghanistan continue to de-evolve voters will eventually correlate the massive costs of the PNAC Pusch with their own economic instability.....Add to that the ever escalating exposure of Bush admn. graft and corruption, DKs record as well as message will be warmly recieved.....I doubt that Kerry will choose him however if DK stays on msg. the choice may be more obvious to the American voters than Kerry....

11. No, and yes.
No, not VP.

Yes, honor, integrity, and right all along. I love the quote.

Dennis is more effective in congress, doing what he does best, than as a sideshow in the WH.

18. Agree, he's more effective
right where he is. But Gawd, Dennis is fierce in one on one debates. It'd almost be worth it to see him debone that toxic lump Cheney, maybe even give him a cardiac, leave the Dubya clown show without its shadow president.

. . . the American people are not knowledgeable or sophisticated enough to understand that Kucinich would be a great choice.

love Dennis.
He is the only one with honor and integrity and you're right, he has been right all along.
He has that same honest, caring and wonderful spirit that Wellstone had all along.

16. I love DK but nationwide this would be a disaster.
Nothing would kill our attempt to dethrone the Chimp quicker than someone who is an extreme left winger. His ideas are great and are what the country needs but the majority of Americans are not ready for his kind of radical change. The Right Wing hate machine would have a field day with Dennis.

19. Ohio is a swing state, right?
I keep hearing swing states as a major justification for selecting a nominee, so there ya go. Dennis fits that bill, and he would definitely reduce the number of liberal "defections" to Nader or whomever.

Plus he might get a chance to talk Kerry into abandoning the PNAC lite (PPI) disasterous foreign policy.

22. As unrealistic as Kucinich for president;
I'd like to see him as president. He could do even more good as president then as vice-president.
But between corruption and media manipulation, the man doesn't stand a chance.
