Proposal for New Rule for Democratic Underground

No posting about what someone said on television, without posting what was said.


For example, no posting...

"Hillary Clinton just asked THE question!" without saying what she asked.

"Tim Russert is ripping into Bush!" without saying what Russert said.

4. Not another rule!
Yes the Russert thing was annoying but if we have a new rule every time someone is annoying, it will take a year just to rear all the rules. Does anyone know what Timmy said?

I think we need a rule against posting about a tv quote without explaining it.

Otherwise people will watch tv and post to this board as if everyone on the board is watching that channel, when they aren't.

I really hate it when people post so-and-so is on CSPAN saying Xxxx right NOW and then don't give a time. Hello? your post will be read for hours/days after you click "Post message" PLEASE give the date, time and time zone!
