1. I'd bet it's the high percentage that are THINKING about this election
much preferable to have all this crap flying under the radar, *not* thinking about Bush but merely watching his stand-up *folksy* routine.

3. Notice the difference betweend "Likely Voters"
and "Registered Voters" and "National Adults".

Likely: 47 Kerry, 48 Bush
Adults: 51 Kerry, 43 Bush

Rove should be concerned about how accurate their "Likely Voter" meter is.

5. Dunno. What I noticed was......
A strong GOTV benefits Kerry, not Bush. We have to make sure many more registered rather than just likely voters get to the polls and have counted votes.

12. Well, sure, if you're gonna go for the OBVIOUS!

Seriously, that's always the first number I look at as the biggest indicator, and it was the first thing that jumped out at me yesterday.

Don't know why I didn't guess it though.

But there's a LOT of bad news for Bush in this poll, including the 51% disapproval and all the guesses by everyone else here!

ON EDIT:
I thought that was PeteNYC saying that the 51% disapproval was the answer he was looking for (didn't look at the poster's name, stupid me!).

Turns out I did get it right below (on my third guess, though). But I think 51% disapproval is giving Rove just as big of an ulcer.

9. I think it's the registered voters numbers
and the contrast between Kerry and Bush will only widen in the upcoming months. Sweet dreams Karl.

11. One more try: The Kerry vs. Bush ability to handle Iraq a statistical tie.
Bush held a commanding lead (54-39%) in the last poll. Now he's only up 3 pts (48-45%), which is within the Margin of Error.

In short, as many people now feel Kerry could better handle Iraq as Bush.

The terror issue is falling fast, too. There go *'s strengths!

19. As far as the "terrorism" issue, that will be Bush's only remaining...
... strength.

But I really think that "terrorism" as an issue, above all, is bogus (as far as how it reflects positively on Bush). People are not going to say they don't like the way Bush handles terrorism because it seems almost like the same as saying you're FOR terrorism.

For that reason, I think this (Bush's strongest showing consistently) is perhaps the most meaningless to the American people. They might be "afraid" of terror, but they really, deep down inside, know that the economy has a much greater effect on them. And they know, deep down inside, that Bush's misguided wars have killed more people than 9-11, and could very well get to the point where they will have killed more Americans, should he be allowed to retain office. They also know, deep down inside, that his policies could directly prompt more and greater terrorist attacks on the U.S.

EVERYONE is against terror. But fewer and fewer people are for Bush.
