Everybody's Favorite 9/11 Commissioner in the News
Yeah, here's the guy we want on the case to assure the public of the integrity of the findings...

"Despite the new allegations, the suit fell short in the eyes of Hollinger's largest outside shareholder, Tweedy, Browne Co.
The New York-based investment firm, which owns 18 percent of Hollinger's stock, said Monday that Hollinger's independent directors, including former Illinois Gov. James R. Thompson, should be held accountable for approving hundreds of millions of dollars in controversial fees to Black and other former executives.
Partner Christopher Browne said he made his case to the special committee of Hollinger's board that has been investigating the payments to Black, Radler and others.
Browne declined to divulge the contents of his letter. But he said he also sent a copy to Richard C. Breeden, the former Securities and Exchange Commission chairman overseeing the special committee's investigation."

Write your Congresscritter today and ask whether someone involved in this scandal ought to step down from this sensitive post for the good of the country.

1. "Stand up Mid Western Guy"
He bragged about how honorable and virtuous he was, before he engaged in a dishonorable partisian attack on Clarke.

Stand up guy huh? I guess it's hard to rob someone sitting down.

2. Geez, these guys are positively incestuous!
Richard Perle, Hollinger, Kissinger, all involved here and now it turns out Thompson is too. I hope this is like Capone, they couldn't get him on criminal charges so they went after him for tax evasion. Maybe the SEC can bring these putrid pieces of crap down.

I'd say keep pressure on these members until one goes; and, either keep on *'s replacement nominee; and/or delve into another member whose integrity is hardly "ten minutes from normal" ... they want teacher's to test ... they want the students to test {(they want the schoool system fail, and be privatized( imagine if teachers had to 'go corporate' on us ... :scared: )) ...

Let the People Test, Screen, and Name ...

We should be naming the people sitting there ... We the People ... we're more than capable ... trust the people ... that's what ol'W was saying when the BFEE had to pull some over-time between 11/7 and 12/12/2000, to make sure things happened according to plan ...

We Want the Power

7. Spread the word...
There's no reason to have an alleged corproatye embezzler on the commission....he should resign or be removed.
