2. LIndsay Graham is just trying to paint himself ...
... as some sort of moderate, but the fact is he's gone along with all of Bush's loony supply-side theories - I've heard him on talk radio down here (in SC) calling progressive taxation "social engineering". He's helped dig this fiscal hole we're in, and now he's trying to get some positive hype going about himself.

4. Took the words right out of my mouth.
I was about to type the same thing, he started up OK then started waffling when it came to any republican people, even daddy Rummy and his 'personal overview of everything under his watch.'

5. Graham is a man of strong principles
Edited on Tue May-11-04 11:24 AM by Wubette
I have to say I do not agree with him on most things but his ability to see this issue for what it is-(Torture and Basely wrong) and his willingness not to toe the Republican party line has improved my opinion of him. Thanks Mr Graham for putting your country ahead of your party----

Oh nevermind-- Just went down a peg-He is whimping out here

12. I've said it before
and I'll say it again. He is preparing to run for Pres in the future and he is conducting himself to maintain the base and ease over into the moderate Dem's to secure the vote. He is hardcore Repug through and through.

17. he try to bite off Wesley Clark's head on MTP for
Bush bashing and stumping for Kerry. I was really annoyed when Wes was making some really cogent points.

To his slight credit, Graham didn't mince words. . ."he said we're talking about rape and murder here. . ."
