Al Franken's dittohead friend is a poster-child for
willful ignorance.

Rampant ignorance.

And what they really are knowledgeable about, they lie! "I didn't see more than two pictures!" So how does this guy know that it was nothing more than a college prank? Rush said so.

So, those three bodies being dragged around Mogadishu in 1993? Was that a "college prank" that got out of control? Surely Al's friend remembers that, and screamed about how Clinton had to resign over that.

Was the black man in Texas just a prank that got out of hand?

...it would be because he allowed himself to see only two. What alternate universe do these people live in where they are getting only a fraction of the information that everyone else is getting? I mean, Jesus Christ, the story broke on 60 Minutes and I definitely saw more than TWO photos on that broadcast.

I'm thinking even some of his fans were disturbed by his support of torture and so now the "back-peddle" begins. Apparently he did the same thing about the dog photos. Saying it was no big deal, then later saying he didn't know they let them bite the prisoners.

You're right, that segment is very revealing about the degree of willful ignorance. They don't even hear how stupid they sound defending him! It's incredible to listen to.

The poor idiot actually compared the Washington Times to the New York Times. Al is doing him no service by allowing him to parade his ignorance that way.

Someone needs to put him out of our misery.

9. If Ted Turner cast himself as the return of Jesus Christ, don't you think
that the Repubbies would have denounced everything reported on CNN as untrue because some nut owned it, not because of any actual in-depth reporting?

I view the Washington Times as a half-step above the supermarket tabloids, who have had every president (except *43?) meeting with the alien representatives, and probably have reported that Abraham Lincoln was still living, just as the head in the globe at Disney's "Haunted Mansion" ride.
