So who has called a Senator today?
Edited on Tue May-11-04 01:32 PM by GumboYaYa
I called Lindsey Graham's office and told them that I was pleasantly surprised with his tough questioning. The lady who answered the phone was very chipper and seemed pleased. I suspect they were getting lots of positive calls today.

Next I called my Senator's (Jim Talent) office and told them I am outraged that Talent tried to blame Clinton; if he is a true supporter of the military he will take this issue more seriously.

Finally, I called Inhofe's office and told them that he is a disgrace. It sounded like I was not the first person to call in outrage over Inhofe's remarks. The lady I spoke with sounded exhausted.

Who else has spoken to staffers? How did they react?

3. I called Lieberman's office the other day
after he tried to defend Rummie and link Saddam to Al Qaeda.

I'll be sure and call INhofe's office.

5. Well, Lieberman certainly took a step back today.
Maybe the calls to his office worked.

6. Just left an angry voicemail at Inhofe's office
Apparenlt, "due to the high level of phone calls at this time, we cannot answer the phone. But please voice your opinion or comment."

I thought I would be able to control the volume and tone of my voice, but I just went off.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

8. I already did
They thanked me for my service, and I thanked them for telling the Senator to keep his mouth shut about inflammatory comments that hurt our deployed troops.

7. My Senators suck big green slimey balls
One of them being that no talent brainless fucking hack, how that idiot got elected is beyond me. The other is a red nosed whiskey drunk, my representative is so far to the right he'd have to turn left to talk to the pigboy.
I've given up calling them or writing, I actually got laughed at when I called attilla's local office.

9. I called Clinton
and said I'd wished she'd had more time. I was just getting into her line of questioning, which was spot-on riveting.
