HERE IS A PICTURE OF THE MAN AND MILITANT GROUP..........
this really makes me feel sick to my stomach....hope these assholes are happy with what they have created.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3705409.stm

May God help us.

P.S

If you asked me I think the neocons have a hand in this, its just too ironic and coincidental for my liking.

11. This is the third friggin time I have tried to type this...
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOT ME AND IF YOU DO THEN YOU PROVE MY ASSERTION CORRECT BECAUSE THIS IS GETTING COMPLETELY IGNORANT. THERE IS BLOOD ON A WHOLE LOT OF HANDS NOW!!!

but i get too damned mad to and hit the tab button and enter and it deletes. I have spent quite a few hours in the last week trying to dig through the crap and find what i think is true about the prison abuse scandal. AND REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THAT THIS MESSAGE WILL PROBABLY BE DELETED AND I GET BANNED HERE I GO.

1) sometime last year (octoberish)the abuses occurred and were disgusting to other soldiers who turned them in

2) late last year some of the soldiers involved were set aside to be court martialed for deriliction of duty.

3) A guy named Lawson (the uncle of one of the soldiers and a lawyer) decided to contact members of congress out of fear that his nephew would be a scapegoat.

4) 60 minutes gets the photos and the whole thing blows up

5) It seems to be accepted by repukes and dems (in congress) alike that rummy probably did not tell the shrub about the situation.

6) rummy says he is accountable for screw-ups

7) media does what seems to be a violation of the geneva convention and keeps showing torture photo's. i.e. you are not supposed to publicly show the humiliation of prisoners of war (whether the war is justified or not) AND THIS IS ONE OF THE PARTS THAT PISSES ME OFF THE MOST

8) Lawson goes on pmsnbc on 5/10 (yesterday) and answers the question, "what members of congress did you contact?" 15 in all (and I'll list the big ones, according to lawson, in a bit

9)Fucking al quaeda operative behead another american publicly

This whole situation makes me want to vommit. And then, I get on this board, a place I go to try and communicate with like minded people, and I can't get over the fact that people are getting so fucking deluded by the political season. Well here's a fucking wake-up call. The prison abuse scandal is a bi-partisan failure involving some of the highest members of both parties AND SCREW ALL OF THEM. The disgusting display of inhumanity by al quaeda members today is ALL THEIR FAULTS EVERY LAST FRIGGING ONE OF THEM. Bi-partisan you ask? here's why...

the list of congressional leaders who were contacted by lawson includes 14 dems and one repuke (lawson said he thought the dems would be the most willing to do something about it). The 14 dems include three on the senate arms committee including senator Byrd, as well as Senators Hillary Clinton and Teddy Kennedy. Well teddy, you have not lived up to the honor of your family. You stand up and scream "WE IN CONGRESS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHAT WAS HAPPENNING" WELL buddy you were told and told in January, WELL BEFORE THE PRESIDENT WAS. AND, you did nothing. This blood of Nick Berg is on your hand teddy as well as all of the following:

shrub
powell
rice
rummy
those freaking ignorant ass soldiers
hillary
robert byrd
ted kennedy
THE ENTIRE AMERICAN FUCKING MEDIA

this should be investigated by a TRULY independent committee (which cannot happen because of a fucking election) Keep all of those involved out of it. keep everyone who should have done something out of the committee and put'em in the chair to answer the tough questions. And now I watch a clip of Byrd asking Taguba questions like he had no clue: LIAR, shrub, powell, rice, idiot frigging soldiers, media, clinton, byrd, kennedy ALL YOU LIARS NEED TO SHUT UP

peace out,

i feel disgraced today after i have finally found things that i have to have been betrayed by hillary and ted. man screw you two, screw you, a lot of us look to you for someone to force the tough questions to be answered by the repukes and now we find that you too had a hand in all this BS

sickening

14. Why would you be banned for that?
Is it because you are dissing some of the sell-out democratic senators? I have been one here who has consistently charged each and every one of the bastards with complicity. I don't give a hoot whether or not they have a damn D behind their name or not. We have been sold out, lock, stock, and barrel. There is no two party system anymore. No government of, by, and for. THe whole thing is a sham. CSPAN is nothing but glorified day-time drama. It is a joke!!!!

Edited on Tue May-11-04 02:28 PM by redqueen
If not, it's pretty much a lost cause to rant about how he says he told all these people all this stuff.

I'm not saying he's lying, but... words are cheap.

21. I hear what you are saying but you know how it is when
someone tries to contact a member of congress. The letter or email sits on some staffers desk for weeks before it gets one of those canned responses.

23. Thats fine but then...
heres my question? and take it in context because I am most definitely opposed to four more years of inept leadership.

Why is it that everyone on this forum seems to automatically think that anything anyone asserts might possibly have been done by the shrub but is willing to disregard anything implicating dems? I am just sick of partisan politics and this year is worse than I've ever seen it. I am only 25 so I don't have a lot of years under my belt. But this political system is going to do one of two things. Truly polarize this country to the point of civil war or piss people off so much that they don't want to take part in it anymore.

And...

I find it disturbing that NOT ONE, NOT ONE of those 15 contacted cogressional members either got the letter, or decided to act on it. THATS AN OUTRAGE IN AND OF ITSELF. Aren't thos people the ones that are supposed to be on our side and for us??? They aren't thats my conclusion. Its all about waiting for the best timing to get the most bang for their buck politically. Unfortunately, bang for the buck had collateral damage today in the name of Nick Berg.

SICKENING

Sick, to be sure.

For obvious reasons, it reminds me of the Daniel Pearl story. A while ago, someone sent me a link to the video of HIS beheading....One of the most disturbing things that I have ever seen. And something I will never forget.

8. Doesn't make sense.
The Iraqi insurgency has consistently shown itself to be extremely adept at thwarting the occupiers, while skillfully garnering world sympathy.

Why this... now?

9. I'm not sure I agree with that.
While the timing of this story is a certainly suspect, I can't say that everything that's happened with Iraqi insurgents has been "skillfully garnering world sympathy".

The incident in Fallujah when Americans were dragged through the streets and then burned wasn't exactly a moment that was embraced by the world community.

the CIA is responsible for the murder of Nick Berg.

you must lead a pretty screwed up life to automatically assume that this is caused because of the CIA. I consider your rampblings to be on par as using the death of Americans as political firepower and that is just fucking sick. I AM SO SICK OF IT

If you watch a car crash is it automatically GM's Fault. No wait the car crash was caused by the asshole oil companies to keep americans from getting mad about gas prices...

are you kidding me?

have to assume a plot. How many times you gotta hear shit after the fact to not realize that they do everything right in our faces? They have so little respect for us "cattle".

Maybe if just one thing happened, that didn't stink to high heaven, perhaps I'd have the kind of perspective that you are free to enjoy.

I criticize democrats too. But at the same time, I realize that they live in a treacherous world as well, where people and family members are threatened and killed, blackmail and all the rest.

24. well
I'm frankly sick to death of blurry videos, crackley audio tapes of anonymous voices, e-mail messages, and images of masked men 'thought to be' members of al queda & osama's right hand men used as hard evidence. Bottom line: we are NEVER provided with convincing evidence. Add that to the bush administration's profoundly lacking credibility and you have nothing but empty space where many of us are painfully forced to roam and try to make sense of everything.

26. I agrre with the premise of what you are saying...
but i will no longer limit it to the shrub. Not after what I've seen in the past week. Its not a two party system it is unfortunately a single party system with outsiders on both sides trying to ge their message out. It doesn't matter whether you vote for kerry or the shrub in november. either way you get an inept leader. At least thats the only conclusion I can make since kerry won't stand up and not change his mind from minute to minute.

I am writing in someone, but not sure who. cause repuke house and congress with shrublite does the same as all repuke control
