17. Agreed!! So what!
If John Kerry can turn our nation around, I don't care how much money his wife has.

6. My thoughts exactly
In order to "earn" money, one must actually perform work for wages. I don't think that Mrs. Kerry has done that in quite a good while.

Her income is what is referred to as unearned income.

14. I believe that Mrs. Kerry does much good work , and much of it hard,
but mainly for charitable institutions so her " wages " are not the material kind.

23. So, you're disputing my assertion that her income is "unearned"?
I'm not discounting her charity work. At the same time, I also don't discount that she lives a rather luxurious lifestyle (as do the overwhelming percentage of the moneyed class) that consumes a highly disproportionate percentage of natural resources.

Whatever the end balance, the fact remains that she still probably didn't "earn" any of the $5 million she took in last year, by the classic definition of "earned income".

25. I don't believe I said anything about her income.
My point was that she does a lot of hard work for charities. I guess then she would not have much time to work for wages.

34. Her husband plans to
When the Freepers bitch about Kerry's plans to raise taxes on people who make a massive amount of money, they fail to realize that John Kerry himself makes a massive amount of money.

You have to admire a man who plans to screw himself.

26. Dick Cheney earned $34 million from Halliburton last year.
You'd think that would be illegal, wouldn't ya? Seems odd that he's still raking in the payola when he's in position to influence govt contracts.

from halliburton.

You need to examine how much Terry pays for a HAIRCUT.

32. Ask any right-wing Limbaugh listener what's important.
Kerry's haircut, Kerry throwing away someone else's medals, Kerry claiming he had no SUV (it's the "family's").

This election will not be about the budget deficit, the war in Iraq, healthcare, education, or anything else that matters to most Americans. Just wait and see.

Doesn't it make everything all better?

Doesn't it justify you?

Is the right trying to imply that there is something wrong with the American Dream?
