I switched for a couple of minutes to listen to the hearings. What was the topic?

Randi went ballistic.

Freeper said that Americans don't care what happens to prisoners in our own prisons, so why should we care what happens to Iraqi prisoners?

Randi said because the whole world is watching, including a billion muslims.

The he starts ranting about Clinton and Waco...

Randi set him straight: They were trying to serve a warrant and Koresh shot 4 federal agents dead? What would you have had us do? Let him go?

I only caught the part of the call when she was screaming
at him and she asked him a question and he was speechless.

Their obsession with Clinton is just hilarious. If they continue we have to create a new medical term. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder with Clintonophopia?

What always gets to me is how they believe every last lie the VRWC made up about Clinton. Even when Starr's reports said they could not find any criminal conduct by the Clintons they say that the investigations didn't uncover it but it was there. Just like the WMDs are still in Iraq.

if the freeper caller was talking about the excessive force used at waco and ugly images like the atf raising the american flag over the compound after they had finished slaughtering women and children (haha, what - you think it was suicide?) then i could understand where he was coming from - but i doubt he was. probaly just wanted to bash clinton. personally I think clinton made a TON of mistakes, and some were pretty big but he is certainly the best we've had in several years. which is kinda sad if you think about it.

p.s. you know someone should tell randi that there are several conflicting reports as to who shot first. she appears to take janet reno's side of the story but i never trusted her much either. i suppose out of her and ashcroft she's the lesser of 2 evils...

it was quite amusing. just around 10 minutes after the one you are now talking about. it was pretty funny. it was the one trying to seek the moral high ground with the beheaded american - too bad we seceeded that ground far too long ago with our own actions. guy thought it was only 6 incidences still; must be really interesting to live in a world of complete ignorance.

I really hate to bring it up, but that is more or less what they were.

And what's wrong with that? A mercenary is someone who is more or less a soldier for a living. As long as he is not willing to perform immoral acts as part of his job, there is absolutely nothing dishonorable about being a mercenary.

I say "half" because anybody with a fully functional brain would know that Halliburton & Bechtel, which most of the mercenaries work for, are capable of nothing BUT immoral acts.

He ("Dave from Pittsburgh") used to call Randi alot when she was just on down here outta West Palm. What nitwit! He is ALWAYS predictable. He's lamer than the idiots who call Neil Rogers and just say crap like "CHUMBA!" and then hang up, or "MARICONE!" It's probably actually Rush doing a fake voice!
