The ACLU had threatened to file a lawsuit claiming that the constitutional rights of Timothy Gies, a senior at Bay City Central High School, were violated last month when he was suspended for wearing a T-shirt with a scarlet letter A and the international symbol for anarchy.(snip)
Gies had previously been barred from wearing peace signs, upside-down American flags and a sweatshirt with an anti-war quote from Albert Einstein. :) :D :7 B-) :hi:
Congratulations, Timothy! Freedom of Speech ROCKS!
