Premise #1 : We have no business in Iraq...
We were not invited. We have committed abuse and torture and murder on their citizens. Now they have done something atrocious. They shouldn't have done that, we say. We shouldn't have invaded their country. We lost all moral latitude when we did that. We can complain and cry and call names and piss on ourselves, but we are in no place to complain.

Now we can look for revenge once again. Who's to blame? Just because we come into their country and rape their sisters and murder their brothers, there's really no need for them to go into such a rage and behead one of our own. What in the hell is wrong with these people? We are here to help them. Don't they know that?

1. I was discussing this witha friend of mine recently
actually it was about the Iraqi's displaying the bodies on the bridge. He was saying that it pissed him off that a bunch of "towel heads" were dragging our guys around like that. I asked him what the hell were we doing there in the first place. He was speechless. His stepsons are both in the military and I think he finally realized that this is serious shit. Now, the torture was wrong, as was the murder of the young man today. It has to stop sometime, so why not now? I mean I want the terrorists out of here as much as anybody, but Iraq wasn't harboring terrorists, as far as anyone knows. So I say stop the madness and bring our soldiers home, or at least deploy them where they can do some good. Oh man, I just went into another mini rant.

2. As another poster said - these were not "Iraqis"
The Iraqis did not commit the beheading.

As far as we can tell, they were Al Qaeda.

WE MUST MAKE THIS DISTINCTION.

3. where are the weapon's of mass destruction?
we tortured those people based on lie number 1, iraq visa vie saddam hussein was an imminent threat.
why , through the road torturing has provided, haven't we{not duers} gone back to talking about what we were really doing there in the first place?
it makes the torturing of people all the more grotesque and bizarre when you think about the big lie first.
