it was a joke today. 6 minutes and every senator that wants to asking questions. What the fuck, no follow up and some openly protecting the witnesses. This shit is a joke. Spend most of the time on fucking statements and procedural rules that have nothing to do with the issue at hand. I just know the rest of the world is laughing at this crap. The investigations being done where the generals can't talk to everyone involved is just as much a joke as the hearings.

1. Did you see the afternoon session?
It was much more interesting.

Just like in the OJ trial, when cameras are present, they grandstand and act as if they're supreme rulers of the universe.

But when CSPAN-3 was covering it, it got a lot more interesting. And while Warner is still a shit, he did ask meaningful questions.

Naturally, Inhofe, Graham et al never wavered from the White House talking points.

2. Well that's what I mean. It's not the senators job to protect the White
House. It's not the general's job to protect the Army. At least as it pertains to finding out what the truth is and what actually did happen for historical purposes and corrective actions. If these people really wanted to protect something then they should protect the american people and the institutions that serve them from this type of thing happening period. Making points for your presidential hopeful or incumbent is bullshit. The President and his gang of thugs are protecting themselves and not us.
